The selected individual will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

The Community Relations Manager (CRM) will play a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships between AURORAL and the communities in which it operates. This position will focus on securing a steady and reliable workforce while reinforcing AURORAL’s commitment to sustainability and long-term viability as a preferred employer for youth and women across its operational landscape.

Develop and implement community development initiatives to enhance local infrastructure and foster social cohesion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs through collaborative partnerships and strategic planning.

Resolves conflicts and oversees grievance procedures with professionalism and discretion. Manages employee disputes, investigates complaints, and implements fair resolutions to maintain a harmonious work environment. • Serve as a neutral intermediary to facilitate mutually agreeable solutions in conflicts involving the company, agricultural producers, and local community organizations.

Diligently document all grievances and their corresponding resolutions to ensure comprehensive record-keeping for reporting needs.

To uphold the company’s “social license to operate” across all host communities, ensuring alignment with local expectations and regulatory requirements.

Ensure adherence to all applicable national and international regulations concerning community engagement, environmental and social impact, and human rights.

Act as an intermediary between government entities and regulatory authorities to address issues pertaining to community affairs.

• Collaborate with the sourcing team to cultivate and sustain robust partnerships with smallholder farmers and fruit suppliers integral to the company’s supply chain.

Responsibilities include designing community engagement strategies, crafting communication materials, and launching awareness campaigns, as needed, in local languages to ensure broader reach and inclusivity.

Prepare routine reports summarizing community relations initiatives, stakeholder feedback, and program results for executive evaluation and decision-making purposes.

Oversee the company’s public perception and standing in the host communities to ensure a positive and cohesive relationship.

Work closely with the marketing and communications team to effectively showcase community development initiatives in corporate publications and media channels.

Evaluate and measure the impact of all community engagement initiatives and corporate social responsibility programs to ensure their effectiveness.

Perform regular social audits and collect community feedback through structured satisfaction surveys to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.

Employ data-driven insights and stakeholder feedback to refine and enhance community relations strategies and programs on an ongoing basis.

Prepare comprehensive impact reports tailored for management, investors, and regulatory agencies to ensure clear communication of key findings and compliance with applicable standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Candidates must possess strong analytical abilities, proficiency in data interpretation, and experience with statistical software. Familiarity with advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and LOOKUP, is essential. Knowledge of SQL for database querying is a must.
