JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Coordinate prospecting and communication initiatives within designated markets and commercial regions through collaboration with colleagues and other institutional staff.
• Facilitate awareness and comprehension of Ad vans Ghana’s offerings among the intended audience.
Prospects will be contacted regularly to maintain engagement and nurture relationships with potential clients.
They are responsible for developing and recommending innovative products and services tailored to meet the evolving needs of existing clients, thereby enhancing client satisfaction and fostering long-term business relationships.
Proactively assess client requirements and recommend innovative products or services to senior management for consideration.
• Motivate clients to establish deposit accounts while achieving outlined targets.
Deliver exceptional customer service by cultivating a welcoming atmosphere, which entails warmly greeting and acknowledging every patron, upholding superior standards, possessing comprehensive product expertise, and fulfilling all other customer service obligations.
Provide support to clients throughout the loan application process.
• Perform comprehensive loan appraisals and gather thorough on-site information, including personal data, business details, and guaranties.
The loan request is presented to the loan committee for review and consideration.
In the event of late repayment, coordinate and implement recovery measures promptly and effectively.
Consistently engage with clients by scheduling and conducting on-site visits to ensure ongoing communication and relationship management.
Transform into a trusted and influential stakeholder within the intervention zone by dedicating the majority of your time to fieldwork and cultivating genuine, productive relationships with local small business owners.
Maintain meticulous and comprehensive records for every client, ensuring all documentation is thorough and up to date.
Develop a structured weekly schedule outlining anticipated tasks and planned site visits to ensure organized and efficient operations.
Disseminate insights and proven strategies to team members to enhance collective knowledge and performance.
You are responsible for promptly escalating any job-related issues to the immediate supervisor for appropriate resolution.
Conduct a thorough examination of the client portfolio through the utilization of operational reports.
• Conducting prospecting activities, visiting clients and guarantors, facilitating loan disbursement, and managing recovery processes.
Proactively manage and resolve escalated client issues with a focus on maintaining professionalism and ensuring customer satisfaction. Address complaints and concerns through clear, empathetic communication while adhering to company policies and procedures. Prioritize timely follow-ups to foster trust and mitigate potential conflicts.
Handling travel between various sites and locations as part of assigned duties.
80% of the workday is dedicated to interacting directly with customers in a field-based setting.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in critical areas to be considered for this role. Essential skills include strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Proficiency in relevant software and tools, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities, is mandatory. Additionally, prior experience in a similar position and a solid understanding of industry standards are highly desirable.
A Diploma, Higher National Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position.
A minimum of one year of professional experience is required, including National Service.
Possesses strong mathematical proficiency, expertise in market valuation, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in micro and small business operations and the dynamics of their market environments is beneficial.
Demonstrates a strong capability to achieve both quantitative and qualitative targets established by the operations department and branch manager.
• Demonstrates professionalism and dynamism, effectively representing Ad vans Ghana at the branch level.
Proven capability to adhere to established policies and procedures with diligence and consistency.
Proficient in organizing and maintaining data through Management Information Systems (MIS) while ensuring accurate documentation within client records.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates a strong self-motivation to take initiative and drive projects forward proactively.
Demonstrated proficiency in conveying information to clients with clarity, transparency, and precision.
