Job Summary
The Trade Developer will spearhead field-level sales initiatives and optimize market coverage to enhance brand visibility, boost agent productivity, and consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within their designated territory.
Key Responsibilities
• Location: Obuasi, Bekwei, Kejetia, Ejisu, Ayigya, Santasi, Buokrom & Atonsu
Identify and onboard new individual wallet customers as part of the onboarding process.
• Facilitate wallet activation and guarantee customers complete their initial transactions.
• Facilitate onboarding initiatives across various locations including markets, university campuses, transportation hubs, and community gatherings.
• Recruit and integrate independent merchants and small to medium-sized enterprises into the platform.
• Facilitate clear comprehension of product features and benefits for merchants to enhance their knowledge and utilization.
• Support agents with customer acquisition and promotional activities.
Design, implement, and oversee field marketing and promotional initiatives to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Accurately document and maintain comprehensive records of all onboarding activities to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth transitions for new employees.
Required Skills: Proven expertise in project management methodologies, exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in relevant software and tools, leadership qualities, and the capacity to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience is required. Proficiency in specific programming languages and tools is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are critical. Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies is preferred. Excellent communication skills for both written and verbal interactions are necessary.
Holders of a Senior Secondary School Certificate or Diploma in fields such as Business, Marketing, or related disciplines are eligible to apply.
A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in field sales is required.
Preferred candidates will have prior experience within the mobile money, banking, telecommunications, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), or a related industry.
Possesses fundamental to intermediate-level expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software platforms.
• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, with specific expertise in Excel and Word.
Demonstrates strong analytical skills to assess sales objectives and evaluate performance indicators effectively.
• Experience with the mobile money ecosystem and digital payment platforms is a strong advantage.
