Job Summary

The Trade Developer will spearhead localized sales initiatives and optimize market penetration, enhancing brand recognition, agent performance, and consistent attainment of daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives within their designated territory.

Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks centered on driving operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of service delivery within the organization. Serve as a pivotal point of contact for cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration to align objectives and streamline processes. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance to cultivate talent and achieve departmental goals. Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and present data-driven insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making. Manage stakeholder relationships, addressing concerns and building partnerships to support long-term growth and sustainability. Ensure adherence to best practices in project management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Identify and onboard individual wallet customers, ensuring seamless integration into the platform.

Accelerate wallet adoption by facilitating customer activation and guaranteeing the completion of initial transactions.

Provide assistance during enrollment initiatives across various locations, including markets, university campuses, transit terminals, and local community gatherings.

• Source and integrate individual merchants and small to medium-sized enterprises into the platform.

Ensure merchants are fully informed about the product’s features and benefits, facilitating a clear comprehension of its value proposition.

Provide assistance to agents in their efforts to attract new customers and execute promotional initiatives.

Design and implement field marketing and promotional campaigns to drive engagement and achieve strategic objectives.

Ensure meticulous documentation of all onboarding procedures and activities to uphold precision in records.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in communication, problem-solving, and time management, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Experience with project management software and advanced analytical tools is strongly preferred. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required, and familiarity with industry regulations or compliance standards may be necessary depending on the role. Strong organizational skills and adaptability to changing priorities are essential for success in this position.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Proficiency in project management software and a strong understanding of industry regulations are essential. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The ideal applicant will have a proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A minimum qualification of a Senior Secondary School Certificate or a Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a closely related field is required for this position.

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in field sales.

• Experience in Mobile Money, Banking, Telecom, FMCG, or related industry preferred.

Proficient in utilizing CRM systems with strong foundational knowledge.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, is required.

Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing and deriving actionable insights from sales targets and key performance indicators is required.

Proficiency in the mobile money ecosystem and digital payment solutions is a desirable asset for this role.
