Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy-duty vehicles, including Sitrak and How models, as well as earthmoving equipment such as Shanty bulldozers and loaders.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, execute engine overhauls, repair transmissions, service brake systems, inspect suspension components, and service steering systems.
Perform welding and fabrication repairs on chassis, frames, and attachments as required to ensure structural integrity and operational efficiency.
Utilize diagnostic tools and service manuals to pinpoint issues and execute appropriate corrective measures.
Accurately document all repair activities, including parts utilized, and labor hours expended, to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
Ensure every task strictly adheres to the manufacturer’s guidelines and established safety protocols.
Oversee the inventory of frequently utilized spare parts while providing guidance on procurement timing and quantities to maintain optimal stock levels.

A Technical/Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering is essential for this role.
Experienced with Chinese heavy-duty trucks and construction machinery, such as Shanty, Streak, or How, for a minimum of three to five years in practical settings.
Demonstrates extensive expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems.
Skilled in operating diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and conventional mechanic tools with precision and efficiency.
Possesses the capability to interpret technical diagrams and service manuals written in English with precision and clarity.
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting substantial components, and working effectively in both outdoor and workshop environments.
