Job Summary
The Draftsman’s primary duty involves producing precise technical drawings, plans, and designs in alignment with specifications from architects, engineers, or project managers. This position requires proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop detailed drawings for construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects, while strictly adhering to project requirements and established standards.
Manages a diverse range of financial tasks, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting, to ensure accurate and timely financial information. Oversees budget preparation and monitoring, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with regulatory standards. Conducts financial forecasting and risk assessment to identify potential challenges and opportunities. Create comprehensive technical drawings, layouts, and plans utilizing CAD software to precise specifications.
Interpret and analyze sketches, specifications, and engineering or architectural calculations to ensure accurate translation into technical drawings and documentation.
Revise drawings in response to feedback and evolving project requirements to ensure alignment with specifications and standards.
Ensure all drawings adhere to established industry standards and specific project requirements.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of all drawings and design files is maintained at all times.
Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless execution and alignment with project goals.
• Perform on-site assessments as needed to gather precise measurements and critical project information.
Assist with compiling and organizing material quantities as well as preparing comprehensive project documentation.
Diligently verify the precision and meticulousness of every drawing created.
Required Competencies: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is mandatory, along with a minimum of three years of progressive experience in financial reporting, auditing, or compliance. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP or Oracle, is essential, as is advanced skill in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas. Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to interpret financial data accurately are critical. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements is required to ensure adherence to financial standards. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining precision and accuracy in all financial analyses and reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required for this role. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Strong problem-solving abilities and a solid grasp of algorithms and data structures are essential. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, as well as familiarity with DevOps practices, is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment are also key requirements.
• A Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), or Technical Certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
Proven expertise in AutoCAD and other computer-aided design (CAD) software platforms is required.
Prior to work experience in drafting proves advantageous.
