Job Summary
The Husky Machine Technician is tasked with installing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing Husky injection molding machines within manufacturing environments. Oversee daily operations to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to established protocols. Implement and monitor key performance indicators to drive operational excellence and efficiency. Develop and execute strategies that enhance productivity, minimize costs, and optimize resource allocation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives and foster a culture of accountability. Conduct regular performance evaluations to identify strengths, areas for improvement, and opportunities for professional growth. Operate, maintain, and ensure the reliable performance of Husky injection molding machines by conducting regular inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and addressing any operational issues or malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues on machinery and supporting systems to ensure optimal operational performance.
Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults to identify underlying issues in systems and equipment.
Ensure that all machines are correctly configured and prepared prior to the initiation of production cycles to maintain optimal operational readiness and efficiency.
Monitor machine operations closely and implement required adjustments to optimize overall efficiency.
Proactively reduce production interruptions by executing swift repairs and conducting regular maintenance.
To guarantee that all products adhere to established quality benchmarks, meticulous inspections and rigorous testing procedures must be conducted throughout the production process.
Maintain accurate records and reports pertaining to maintenance activities, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with relevant standards. Prepare and submit detailed reports as required, summarizing work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during maintenance operations.
Ensure strict adherence to established safety protocols and company policies at all times to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to address and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
Assist with the installation and commissioning of machinery as needed.

Qualifications
A degree, diploma, or higher national diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a comparable discipline is required.
A minimum of two to five years of hands-on experience operating Husky injection molding machines is required.
