The Video Editor serves as the driving force behind the digital team’s production efforts. Your core responsibility involves converting the founder’s sermons, teachings, and event footage into compelling content that engages millions of viewers on Facebook and YouTube weekly. This position demands more than standard video editing expertise—it requires keen editorial discernment to select the most impactful 90-second segments from hour-long sermons that can captivate an audience mid-scroll, technical precision to deliver polished, high-quality results, and a deep respect for the founder’s message to ensure its integrity remains intact.

You will oversee the creation of Reels content for both Facebook and Instagram, manage YouTube uploads, and establish a streamlined live stream workflow for events and services. Collaboration with the Social Media Manager is essential to guarantee that all content is properly formatted and optimized for each platform prior to publication.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties essential to the role, including but not limited to strategic planning, project management, and operational coordination. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with organizational objectives. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and performance metrics to drive efficiency and accountability. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Additionally, prepare and present detailed reports, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights to support informed decision-making.

Transform sermon materials into polished, platform-specific video segments, including Reels (60–90 seconds), YouTube Shorts, Facebook clips, and full-length uploads, maintaining a steady weekly schedule.

Oversee the YouTube channel’s operational workflow, ensuring timely content delivery by managing upload schedules, reviewing thumbnails, implementing chapter markers, optimizing descriptions, and sustaining a consistent posting cadence.

Craft engaging Instagram and Facebook Reels with strategic caption overlays, optimized audio selections, and tailored formatting to meet each platform’s unique technical requirements.

Develop and sustain a real-time streaming production workflow tailored to GPWS events and services, collaborating with Dominion Studios to execute productions on an event scale.

Maintain a systematically organized video archive within Google Drive, encompassing footage, exported files, and project files, while adhering to the established naming conventions and folder structure prescribed by the team.

To remain abreast of updates to platform algorithms that influence video engagement—especially Facebook’s 1-minute view threshold and YouTube’s watch time and retention metrics—you will modify your editing strategies as needed.

Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail are essential, along with proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is critical, as is a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Prior experience in a similar role and industry knowledge are highly desirable, while adaptability and problem-solving skills will be key to success in this position.
