Duties will be performed in Sweden and Aura Dunkwa.

Facilitate bi-weekly meetings with AIM savings groups to ensure consistent engagement and progress tracking.

• Gather savings contributions from AIM participants on a regular basis.

Ensure accurate documentation of all savings transactions in both passbooks and digital platforms or the DFA system.

To ensure meticulous documentation, oversee the precise tracking of member savings, attendance, and participation records.

Deposit savings into the branch office in accordance with established organizational protocols.

• Responsible for securely managing and transporting cash in compliance with established organizational protocols to maintain safety and integrity throughout the process.

Foster meaningful connections with AIM participants and consistently promote disciplined savings practices.

Collaborate closely with AIM PA to ensure alignment on meeting schedules, attendance tracking, and participant updates.

Facilitate the seamless transition and ongoing management of AIM groups within savings operations.

Provide frequent reports to the Branch Manager regarding savings performance metrics and participant engagement levels.

Convene two to three group sessions on a daily basis.

Conducting meetings is scheduled at 8:30 AM, 9:30 AM, and 10:30 AM, with the possibility of adjustments depending on office hours.

Arrive at the designated meeting location fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled start of the group meeting.

Provide assistance in conducting Financial Literacy Training (FLT) sessions as needed.

Educate participants in cultivating disciplined savings habits while providing insights into the future accessibility of Microfinance services.

Facilitate the seamless transition of eligible participants into Microfinance groups upon the conclusion of their 18-month savings cycle.

Assist in evaluating and facilitating the intake process for individuals who meet the criteria for loan eligibility.

Compiles and generates daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing key metrics, performance indicators, and operational data to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of business progress.

Loan proposals are approved following a collective decision-making process, wherein verbal votes are cast by group members present during the meeting.

The credit officer will be responsible for entering all loan-related information, including applications and guarantor details from DP Notes, into the digital system.

After confirming the details of the loan application, establish a disbursement date and promptly notify the member.

Be physically present on disbursement day to actively engage in the distribution process.

The credit officer is required to participate in weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly group meetings and must ensure the full recovery of all loan installments.

Collected funds are deposited into the Branch Accountant’s account, with the transaction recorded in the Daily Cash Report (DCR) and authenticated by a signature.

Any installment not paid during the morning group meeting must be collected afterward through visits to the borrowers’ or small group leaders’ residences in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, commence the process of collecting overdue payments, including late installments and those not yet billed (NBL), alongside current outstanding balances.

• Initiate the recovery process for loans that have been written off, should former clients seek to re-establish their relationship with BRAD.

Cultivate and uphold professional, courteous interactions with all individuals involved.

• Address participants’ feedback, concerns, and suggestions promptly and effectively, ensuring appropriate follow-through on each issue raised.

Adhere to the established HR policies and procedures outlined by BRAD to ensure compliance and operational consistency.

Maintain strict compliance with the organization’s Code of Conduct and safeguarding policies at all times.

Execute any supplementary duties as directed by senior leadership.

Foster and uphold a robust safeguarding culture across all AIM groups consistently.

To safeguard participants, implement measures that prevent abuse, exploitation, harassment, and discrimination, ensuring a secure and respectful environment for all.

Report all safeguarding incidents in compliance with established organizational safeguarding protocols and procedures.

Foster an environment that ensures safe and inclusive engagement for adolescent girls and young women.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities. Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello, is preferred, and familiarity with data analysis software, like Tableau or Power BI, is advantageous. Additionally, the role demands exceptional organizational skills, the capacity to manage multiple priorities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Applicants must possess a Senior High School Certificate, specifically the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), as the minimum educational qualification.

A minimum of one year of professional experience in a financial institution or a related field is required.
