Duty station is situated in the Ellembelle District, located within the Western Region of Ghana.

Commencing on July 1, 2026, this role will offer a full-time opportunity for a highly skilled professional to join our dynamic team, with responsibilities to be outlined in alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards.

The position is offered on a six-month contract basis, with the potential for renewal upon successful completion of the initial term.

• The designated project manager for the VIS GHANA initiative will serve as the primary referee for all related activities and communications.

Coordinate and oversee field-level project execution to ensure adherence to the established activity plan and timely completion of implementation schedules.

Perform routine data collection and analysis to monitor project advancement systematically.

Facilitate the exchange of information and coordination of communication among the project team, implementing partners, and community-level beneficiaries.

Prepare monthly and operational reports while consistently documenting ongoing activities, including multidisciplinary assessments.

Engage proactively with a diverse range of community stakeholders to drive their active participation, ensuring the inclusion of community leaders, representatives, and local government officials throughout the project’s execution and enhancement phases.

Responsibilities include managing the scholarship program’s logistics, such as coordinating application procedures, facilitating communication with recipients, and maintaining all associated documentation.

• Oversee daily expenditures, gather necessary supporting documentation, and verify that all expense-related records are submitted to the administrative office in a timely manner.

• Oversee procurement activities in the field by assessing requirements, selecting appropriate vendors, securing competitive bids, and adhering to established organizational policies and procedures.

Performs additional duties or functions as required or assigned by the Project Manager to ensure the organization’s service standards are maintained.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and report preparation. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, demonstrated through successful project coordination and deadline adherence. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, fostering clear collaboration with cross-functional teams. Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello, and familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce. A proactive approach to problem-solving, coupled with a keen attention to detail, ensures accuracy in all deliverables.

A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or an equivalent qualification in a related discipline is required.

With a minimum of three years of dedicated experience in international cooperation, particularly emphasizing community development and mobilization initiatives, the ideal candidate will bring a wealth of relevant expertise to the role.

Demonstrates a proven track record in overseeing and directing field-based operational activities with a minimum of two years of hands-on leadership experience in such environments.

Procurement experience is a prerequisite for this role, with candidates expected to demonstrate a proven track record in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to secure optimal terms and cost efficiency.

With a proven track record in logistics operations, candidates should bring hands-on experience to the role.

Individuals should possess prior professional experience within the Western region.

Proficient in utilizing computer systems with a strong command of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
