The Social Media Manager serves as the ministry’s ongoing representative across all platforms, ensuring timely, properly formatted content reaches the intended audience with polished captions. Your responsibilities involve strategic deployment of content developed by the rest of the team, followed by proactive stewardship of the resulting community.
Oversee critical operational duties including managing daily workflows to ensure seamless project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams to align on priorities, and monitoring performance metrics to maintain high productivity standards. Additionally, the role demands rigorous attention to detail in data analysis to identify trends and potential areas for improvement, while actively fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving. Schedule and distribute all content across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, utilizing a scheduling tool as needed to ensure alignment with the editorial calendar.
Monitor all platform comment sections on a daily basis, addressing general engagement, escalating spiritually sensitive conversations or prayer requests for pastoral follow-up, and moderating content that breaches community standards.
Oversee incoming direct messages across various platforms, ensuring inquiries are promptly directed to the appropriate contacts for resolution.
Maintain a weekly engagement log that records the number and frequency of comments, direct messages, and other significant community interactions, subsequently summarizing this data in the weekly digital report.
Collaborate with the Content Designer to align caption scheduling and partner with the Video Editor to ensure adherence to platform-specific formatting requirements prior to content publication.
Support event amplification efforts for summits and other ministry functions by managing live posting, delivering timely story updates, and facilitating real-time audience engagement.
Examine trending faith-based discussions and cultural events that resonate with the ministry’s target demographic, then promptly communicate these insights to the Creative Director as promising content avenues.

What You Bring
