JOB DESCRIPTION:

We aim to deliver rigorous and engaging History instruction to secondary school students, adhering to the Cambridge International Curriculum standards. Our goal is to deepen students’ comprehension of historical events while fostering critical thinking, research proficiency, and analytical reasoning. Additionally, we prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge assessments and equip them with the foundational skills necessary for future academic success.

Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Additionally, the role involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration across departments, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities also encompass analyzing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and driving continuous operational excellence.

Plan, develop, and deliver dynamic History lessons in strict accordance with the standards set by the Cambridge International Curriculum.

To equip students for success in Cambridge examinations, employ dynamic teaching methodologies, thorough source analysis, and focused revision workshops.

Craft lessons that foster critical thinking, encourage historical inquiry, and engage students in evaluating evidence from diverse viewpoints.

Promote the cultivation of robust research capabilities, proficient writing techniques, and sharp analytical acumen among students.

Foster a classroom setting that is inclusive, supportive, and effectively managed.

Evaluate and track students’ academic advancement while offering meaningful, actionable feedback to support their growth and development.

Work collaboratively with team members to advance cross-disciplinary education and comprehensive school-wide programs.

Guide or actively participate in History-focused extracurricular programs, which include debates, quiz competitions, educational excursions, and history clubs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are essential for evaluating complex information and developing effective solutions. Familiarity with industry-specific software or tools is often required, depending on the role. Organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Additionally, candidates should possess a solid understanding of relevant regulations and compliance standards to ensure adherence to legal and ethical guidelines. Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in History, History Education, Social Studies, or an equivalent discipline is required.

A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, B. Ed., or an equivalent certification, is strongly desirable.

Proficiency in instructing students according to the Cambridge International Curriculum is required.
