Duty station for this position is located in Accra.

Daily attendance, movement tracking, and client business visits will be verified each day.

• Conduct on-site assessments by visiting the premises and homes of potential entrepreneurs to evaluate their business viability and suitability.

Prospective entrepreneurs must submit a comprehensive set of documents for verification, including, but not limited to, a valid trading license, land agreement, tenancy agreement, spouse consent, as well as detailed information regarding nominees and guarantors.

Prepare and finalize all essential documentation required for processing loan disbursements to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial transactions.

• Collect all needed documents from the individual clients and for loan disbursements

Ensure prompt remittance of monthly installments via mobile money or bank transfer.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports and target plans, ensuring they are thoroughly documented and aligned with organizational objectives.

Visit borrowers on-site following the disbursement of funds to ensure proper utilization and adherence to loan terms.

Conduct regular on-site inspections to verify adherence to quality standards during disbursement processes.

• Collaborate with account managers and legal professionals to finalize and execute legal documentation.

Prepare and submit requisitions on a weekly and monthly basis to facilitate loan disbursement processes.

Ensure accurate disbursement of funds and timely collection of monthly overdue payments.

Ensure timely collection and submission of information regarding the death of a borrower or their dependents to the relevant insurers.

Initiate the collection process for loans that have been written off, ensuring the recovery of funds and their subsequent deposit into the designated accounts.

Consistently uphold the Microfinance staff Code of Conduct while ensuring all interactions with clients are conducted with the highest standards of respect and professionalism.

Dedicate efforts toward delivering exceptional service quality to clients, both at field sites and within the branch office environment.

Demonstrate attentive listening to clients’ complaints, concerns, or opinions, ensuring thorough understanding before determining suitable actions to address their feedback effectively.

Compiles and submits regular progress reports detailing project status, milestones achieved, and any challenges encountered to ensure transparency and accountability in project execution.

To foster a robust safeguarding culture throughout every tier of the program, the role involves executing the safeguarding policy effectively.

Serve as a primary resource for safeguarding expertise, offering essential support and guidance to cultivate a secure working environment.

Ensures team members receive adequate training, support, and resource access to address and resolve identified issues per safeguarding policy and procedure.

Follow the established safeguarding reporting procedure without delay whenever any incident that must be reported occurs, and actively encourage colleagues to do the same.

Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with proficiency in relevant software and tools. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with preference given to applicants holding advanced certifications or specialized training. Prior experience in a similar role and industry knowledge are highly advantageous. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and adapt to evolving challenges is crucial. Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices is also expected.

A high school diploma or its equivalent, such as the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), is required.

• Prepare cash and bank transactions, including drafting cash requisitions and cash certificates.

Possesses proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications.

Possesses a minimum of twelve months of professional experience within the microfinance or broader financial services sector.
