Duty stations for this position include Sweden and Aura Dunkwa.

Convene bi-weekly gatherings with AIM savings groups to facilitate collaborative discussions and progress tracking.

Collect savings deposits from participants enrolled in the AIM program.

Ensure accurate documentation of all savings transactions in both physical passbooks and digital platforms or DFA systems.

• Ensure precise documentation of members’ savings transactions, attendance, and engagement levels.

Deposits of collected savings are processed and transferred to the designated branch office in adherence to established organizational protocols and guidelines.

Ensure the secure handling and conveyance of cash in strict adherence to established organizational guidelines.

Develop and nurture meaningful connections with AIM participants while fostering consistent savings behaviors.

Collaborate with AIM PA to manage meeting schedules, ensure attendance, and provide participant updates.

Facilitate seamless transitions and ongoing administration of AIM groups within savings operations.

• Provide regular updates to the Branch Manager regarding savings performance and participant engagement metrics.

Convene two to three group sessions daily, ensuring comprehensive engagement with participants throughout each meeting.

A structured meeting schedule is implemented, with the first session commencing at 8:30 AM, followed by a second meeting at 9:30 AM and a third at 10:30 AM. These timings are subject to adjustment in accordance with office hours and operational requirements.

Arrive at the designated meeting location no later than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the group meeting.

Provide assistance in conducting Financial Literacy Training (FLT) sessions as needed.

Educate participants in cultivating disciplined savings practices while ensuring their future eligibility for Microfinance services.

Responsible for equipping qualified participants with the necessary tools and knowledge to successfully transition into Microfinance groups once they have completed the 18-month savings cycle.

• Facilitate the evaluation and integration of participants who meet loan eligibility criteria.

We facilitate a comprehensive transition readiness assessment to ensure clients are prepared for the next phase of their journey. This involves evaluating current status, identifying gaps, and developing personalized plans to address needs. The role requires strong analytical skills to interpret data, exceptional communication abilities to convey findings, and meticulous planning to implement strategies effectively. Additionally, we collaborate with stakeholders to align resources and support, ensuring a smooth and successful transition for all parties involved.

You will participate in staff meetings to provide field updates and contribute to discussions.

Promptly escalate any operational or safeguarding concerns to senior management for immediate review and resolution.

Ensure that all submitted loan proposals from members are thoroughly reviewed and deliberated upon during the scheduled group meetings.

Loan proposals are approved when a majority of group members present cast verbal votes in favor.

The credit officer will be responsible for entering all pertinent loan information—including loan applications and guarantor details from DP Notes—into the digital system.

After confirming the accuracy of the loan application details, establish the disbursement date and promptly notify the member of the confirmed schedule.

• Ensure your physical presence on the disbursement day and actively engage in the disbursement process.

Credit officers are expected to participate in regularly scheduled group meetings, which may occur weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, while ensuring the complete recovery of all loan installments.

Collected funds must be deposited into the Branch Accountant’s account, with the exact amount officially recorded in the Daily Cash Report (DCR) and the corresponding entry authenticated through a signature.

If a borrower misses an installment during the morning group meeting, arrange for a follow-up collection in the afternoon by visiting the borrower’s residence or the home of the designated small group leader.

In the afternoon, conduct overdue and NBL installment collections, including those that are late, to ensure timely payment processing.

Initiate the recovery process for loans that have been written off for clients who express interest in returning as BRAD customers.

Cultivate professional and courteous relationships with every participant at all times.

Demonstrate active listening by attentively addressing participants’ complaints, concerns, and suggestions, then implementing suitable solutions as needed.

Adhere to the guidelines and protocols outlined in the BRAD Human Resources manual.

• Adhere to organizational Code of Conduct and safeguarding policies.

Execute any supplementary duties as may be directed by senior leadership.

Foster and uphold a robust safeguarding culture across all AIM groups to ensure consistent protection and awareness.

Strive to safeguard all participants against instances of abuse, exploitation, harassment, and discrimination in all interactions and environments.

Report all safeguarding incidents in strict adherence to established organizational protocols and procedures to ensure prompt and compliant handling.

To foster a welcoming and secure environment, ensure the active engagement of adolescent girls and young women while upholding their safety and inclusion.

Required qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in data analysis, budget tracking, and financial reporting is essential. Candidates must possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication abilities, along with adept problem-solving capabilities, are necessary for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in an administrative or office support capacity. Familiarity with project management tools and basic accounting principles is a plus.

A high school diploma or its equivalent, such as a WASSCE certificate, is required.
