• Handle incoming deliveries of knockdown (KD) parts, components, and consumables.
Confirm that received quantities, part numbers, and product quality align precisely with the details outlined in delivery notes, purchase orders, and packing lists.
Notify the procurement team without delay if any discrepancies, damages, or non-conformities are identified.
Assign bin locations and organize parts in a structured manner, adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expire, First-Out) inventory control methods.
Maintain a warehouse environment that is consistently clean, well-organized, and clearly labeled, specifically for parts used in both heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles.
Ensure the secure storage of heavy components to mitigate damage risks and streamline retrieval processes.
Responsible for ensuring precise inventory documentation by utilizing the company’s ERP or warehouse management system.
• Perform cycle counts and contribute to monthly and quarterly physical stocktaking initiatives.
Monitor inventory levels and generate reorder notifications for high-priority and high-velocity components.
Issue authorized requisition notes to assembly line technicians to provide the required parts and materials.
Maintain accurate daily logs documenting all receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
Prepare weekly and monthly warehouse reports detailing stock status, slow-moving items, and any discrepancies identified.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), proper lifting techniques, and correct stacking procedures.
Ensure hazardous materials, including batteries, oils, and lubricants, are stored in adherence to all applicable environmental and safety regulations.
Ensure that fire exits, extinguishers, and all emergency equipment remain unobstructed and in proper working order at all times.
Responsibilities include overseeing and mentoring warehouse staff, including forklift operators and temporary laborers, to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols.

A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline is required.
Professional certification, such as CULT or SAP certification, would be considered a valuable asset.
