Women oversee agricultural production activities, including cultivation of food crops, management of market gardens, livestock farming, and fish farming.

Agri-food processing encompasses a range of products, including fish, Gary, cocoa, and other commodities, requiring specialized handling and production techniques.

• Responsible for the enhancement and utilization of agricultural by-products and waste, specifically from cocoa and other relevant sectors within the agricultural industry.

Bakery and local catering services owned and operated by women lead this dynamic team.

Activities must avoid any adverse effects on biodiversity or ecosystems, ensuring no harm or loss occurs.

As a member of one of the 17 designated communities within the Weiss Amend and Lake Boomtown project landscapes, you will play a vital role in the initiative’s success.

The proposed business concept exhibits substantial potential for generating employment opportunities, particularly for young individuals and women.

The company must demonstrate a minimum operational history of twelve months to qualify for consideration.

Applicants are required to apply for financial support, which may include monetary grants, essential equipment, or specialized training aimed at enhancing productivity, either individually or in combination.

To ensure shared financial commitment, applicants must furnish a co-financing contribution amounting to no less than 5% of the total grant value.

Grant allocations under this initiative are capped at CAD 10,000 per eligible recipient, with priority given to proposals seeking equipment-related funding.

Priority will be given to candidates who can effectively utilize applicable grants within three months of initial receipt.

Businesses employing at least four individuals, or cooperatives headed by either male or female leadership, are included in this category.

The proposed business concept is designed to champion the interests of women as its primary focus, presenting significant potential for impact and growth.
