Job Summary
The Husky Machine Technician is tasked with installing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing Husky injection molding machines to support manufacturing processes. This position plays a critical role in ensuring machines function optimally, reducing unplanned downtime, and contributing to production objectives while upholding stringent quality and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
• Location: Kumasi, a vibrant city in the heart of Ghana’s Ashanti Region, serves as the setting for this role.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Husky injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Perform routine inspections, diagnose malfunctions, and execute repairs as needed to uphold production efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines throughout all operational and maintenance activities.
Execute routine and non-routine maintenance on machinery and associated auxiliary systems to uphold operational efficiency and reliability.
Diagnoses a wide range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions to determine underlying causes and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Ensure all machinery undergoes meticulous preparation before initiating production cycles to maintain operational efficiency and minimize potential downtime.
Monitor machine operations to evaluate performance metrics and implement required adjustments aimed at enhancing overall efficiency.
Minimize production downtime by performing timely repairs and conducting regular maintenance.
To guarantee that all products adhere to established quality standards, meticulous inspections and thorough testing protocols must be consistently applied throughout the production process.
Oversee and update maintenance records and reports with precision and regularity, ensuring all documentation is accurate, current, and compliant with regulatory standards.
