• Duty Station : Konongo and Ejisu

Conduct between 15 and 20 household surveys daily as part of the assigned responsibilities.

Identify prospective clients by analyzing survey data to discern suitable leads and opportunities for engagement.

To clearly define and set boundaries for the designated work zones, ensuring each group operates within its specified area.

Engage in focused conversations with the designated participants in intimate group settings.

A team of five members will be assembled, with each group comprising five individuals.

A coordinator must be designated to lead each small group.

To establish and lead a comprehensive group management committee, ensuring effective coordination and decision-making processes. This role requires assembling a diverse team, defining clear objectives, and fostering collaborative engagement among members to achieve strategic goals. Responsibilities include overseeing committee operations, facilitating productive discussions, and implementing structured governance to enhance overall efficiency and productivity. Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive consensus-driven initiatives.

Conduct a comprehensive two-week orientation program for newly inducted members of substantial cohorts.

As per the BRAD Ghana circular, the responsibility includes collecting the member admission fee from the members.

Enter admission details for each group member into the mobile phone or tablet, ensuring timely synchronization of the data whenever feasible.

Schedule meetings by coordinating dates, times, and venues efficiently, ensuring alignment with participants’ availability and organizational requirements.

A team must comprise no fewer than 15 members for Microfinance (MF) and 10 members for Agra-Finance, with an upper limit of 30 members for MF and 20 for Agra-Finance.

We welcome new participants when a group’s membership declines due to attrition or other circumstances.

Convene two to three group sessions daily to facilitate collaboration and progress on key initiatives.

Meetings are scheduled at 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 10:30 a.m., with the potential for adjustments based on office hours.

Arrive at the designated meeting location fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

• Organize the participants in a U-shaped formation, aligning them by their respective small groups.

Maintain accurate records of daily attendance in the designated register, ensuring all entries are completed promptly and in accordance with established procedures.

• Address inquiries regarding loan processes and address any additional pertinent concerns.

Collect weekly installment deposits from designated small group leaders via the respective small group cashiers, ensuring signatures are obtained on mobile devices.

Return to the office by 1:30 PM following the conclusion of the group meetings.

Cash collected from group meetings held in proximity to a branch must be deposited at that branch prior to traveling to the next meeting to mitigate the risk of robbery.

Employees must adhere to established safety and security protocols when handling and transporting funds to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Ensure that all loan proposals submitted by members are thoroughly reviewed and deliberated upon during the scheduled group meetings.

Proposals for loans can be received via verbal votes conducted in the presence of all group members.

The credit officer is responsible for accurately entering all loan-related data, including loan applications and guarantor details from DP Notes, into the digital system.

After thorough review of loan applications, determine and establish the disbursement date, ensuring timely communication of this information to all relevant members.

Be physically present on the scheduled disbursement day to actively engage in the disbursement process.

The Credit Officer is required to participate in weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly group meetings, with a primary responsibility of ensuring the full recovery of all loan installments.

• All cash received must be promptly submitted to the Branch Accountant, and the Branch Accountant is responsible for recording the deposited amount in the Daily Cash Report (DCR) and affixing their signature as confirmation.

Any installment not paid during the morning group meeting must be collected in the afternoon by conducting visits to borrowers’ or small group leaders’ residences.

In the afternoon, commence the process of collecting overdue payments, including both late installments and those not issued by the lender, while also addressing any current overdue balances.

Initiate the recovery process for loans that were previously written off in cases where clients express interest in re-establishing their relationship with BRAD.

Attend the weekly staff meetings as scheduled.

• Compile and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure accurate and timely documentation of data and activities.

Adhere to the established HR policies and procedures outlined by BRAD, ensuring full compliance at all times.

Ensure all directives from senior management are carried out promptly and effectively.

Always comply with the Microfinance staff Code of Conduct and demonstrate respectful interactions with clients at all times.

Dedicate efforts to delivering exceptional service quality to clients both in the field and at the branch.

Demonstrate attentive listening when clients express complaints, concerns, or opinions, and respond with suitable actions.

To promote a culture of safeguarding throughout the institution, the role involves implementing and upholding the safeguarding policy across all levels.

Serve as a primary resource for advice, direction, and specialized knowledge regarding safeguarding measures to ensure a secure working environment.

To oversee that team members receive the necessary training, guidance, and resources, ensuring issues are addressed and resolved in compliance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.

Follow the established safeguarding reporting procedure without delay whenever a reportable incident occurs, and actively encourage colleagues to adhere to the same process.

Experience with automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, including proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as OBTAIN scanners. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across various vehicle systems. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Experience with vehicle inspection and performance testing. A deep understanding of manufacturer guidelines, repair manuals, and technical service bulletins. Familiarity with safety protocols and adherence to industry standards. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently or within a team. Strong communication abilities to interact with customers, explain repairs, and provide estimates. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Holders of a Senior High School certificate, specifically the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), are required.

Responsible for managing cash and bank transactions, including the preparation of cash requisitions and cash certificates, as well as conducting bank reconciliation statements.
