JOB DESCRIPTION:
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy-duty vehicles, including Sitrak and How models, as well as earthmoving equipment such as Shanty bulldozers and loaders.
Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance, conduct detailed engine overhauls, repair transmissions, service brake systems, inspect and repair suspensions, and address steering-related issues.
Perform welding and fabrication repairs on chassis, frames, and related attachments as required to maintain structural integrity and functionality.
Diagnostic tools and service manuals are utilized to accurately identify issues, after which appropriate corrective actions are promptly implemented.
Ensure meticulous documentation of all repair activities, including parts utilized and hours expended on labor.
Ensure that all tasks adhere strictly to the manufacturer’s specifications and relevant safety standards.
• Oversee the inventory of frequently utilized spare parts and provide guidance on reordering processes.
Responsibilities include providing guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics and apprentices as needed.

Requires a minimum of three to five years of practical expertise in operating and maintaining Chinese heavy-duty trucks and construction machinery, including models such as Shanty, Streak, How, or comparable brands.
Possesses comprehensive expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems.
Skilled in operating diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and conventional automotive tools with precision.
Demonstrates proficiency in interpreting technical diagrams and service manuals written in English.
Capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including lifting substantial components and operating effectively in both outdoor and workshop settings.
