The Nature-based Climate Adaptation in the Guinean Forests of West Africa represents a three-year collaborative initiative spearheaded by the World University Service of Canada (WUSS) and the Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECIL) as a consortium. Its primary objective is to enhance the adoption of inclusive and gender-responsive nature-based solutions (NBS) for Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) within communities across the Guinean forest region, including Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Guinea. The initiative will focus on specific landscapes, such as Weiss Amend and Lake Bosumtwi in Ghana, the areas surrounding Tai National Park (NASA) and Dive Botanical Reserve (Low-Djiboua) in Côte d’Ivoire, and the regions near Kounounkan and Medina Lula Forest Reserves in Guinea.
