Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in heavy-duty vehicles, including Sitrak and How models, as well as in earthmoving equipment such as Shanty bulldozers and loaders.

• Conduct preventive maintenance, engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake system servicing, suspension adjustments, and steering system repairs.

Perform welding and fabrication repairs on chassis, frames, and attachments as required.

Employ diagnostic equipment and reference service manuals to accurately diagnose system faults and execute appropriate corrective measures.

Responsibilities include meticulously documenting repair activities, tracking parts utilized, and recording labor hours to ensure precise and up-to-date records.

Ensure strict adherence to all manufacturer specifications and safety standards in every aspect of the work performed.

Responsible for overseeing inventory levels of frequently utilized spare parts and providing recommendations for reordering to maintain optimal stock availability.

Provide guidance and support to junior mechanics and apprentices as needed, ensuring their professional development and adherence to established standards.

Proficient in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems, with a solid understanding of their functions and interactions.

Skilled in operating diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and other standard mechanic tools to accurately assess and troubleshoot vehicle systems and components.

Proficient in interpreting technical diagrams and service manuals written in English.

Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy components, and comfortable working in both outdoor and workshop environments.
