The three-year Nature-based Climate Adaptation in the Guinean forests of West Africa initiative, led by the World University Service of Canada (WUSS) and the Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECIL) as a consortium, aims to enhance the adoption of inclusive, gender-responsive nature-based solutions (NBS) for climate change adaptation (CCA) among communities in the Guinean forest region of Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Guinea. Focus areas include the landscapes of Weiss Amend and Lake Bosumtwi in Ghana; the areas surrounding Tai National Park (NASA) and Dive Botanical Reserve (Low-Djiboua) in Côte d’Ivoire; and the regions near Kounounkan and Medina Lula Forest Reserves in Guinea.
