Background

ISO DEC is actively recruiting a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to uphold our facility’s cleanliness and hygiene standards. The position requires immediate attention and is currently open for qualified candidates.

Job Purpose

To maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene across ISO DEC offices and shared spaces, ensuring a secure and inviting atmosphere for both employees and guests.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and team performance. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline processes, resolve challenges, and foster a cohesive work environment. Conduct thorough evaluations of workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions. Maintain rigorous compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices to uphold accountability and mitigate risks. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the Reporting Line position, where you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely reports to senior management, ensuring all data is meticulously organized and presented in a clear, concise manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in data visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, validate data integrity, and support decision-making processes through insightful reporting. Experience in financial or operational reporting is highly desirable, along with the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

The Cleaner will operate under the direct supervision of the Administrative Officer or any other authorized supervisor.

The engagement details outline the framework governing the collaboration, specifying the duration, scope of work, compensation structure, deliverables, and any pertinent legal or logistical considerations. Participants are expected to adhere to the agreed-upon terms, which may include confidentiality clauses, intellectual property rights, or performance metrics. Compliance with these conditions ensures alignment with both parties’ expectations and fosters a productive working relationship.

Responsibilities include performing thorough cleaning of floors in offices, hallways, and common areas by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure a tidy and sanitary environment.

Dust and clean all furniture, fixtures, windows, and doors thoroughly to maintain a pristine and welcoming environment. Ensure every surface is free of dirt, smudges, and debris while adhering to established cleaning protocols and safety standards.

Empty waste containers and ensure refuse is disposed of in accordance with established protocols.

Clean and maintain restrooms in a sanitary condition by thoroughly scrubbing, disinfecting, and replenishing essential toiletries to ensure a hygienic and pleasant environment for users.

Clean and maintain kitchen and pantry spaces meticulously, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and organized. Wash dishes, glasses, and other utensils promptly and thoroughly, adhering to hygiene standards to support a well-functioning and safe environment.

You are responsible for promptly notifying your supervisor of any maintenance concerns, damages, or supply shortages that may arise.

Ensure strict compliance with established health and safety protocols when handling and applying cleaning chemicals to mitigate risks and maintain a secure environment.

Execute any additional cleaning tasks or related responsibilities as designated by management.

Once weekly at a mutually arranged day and time.

Remuneration will be prorated according to the number of days worked, with the final salary and allowances subject to agreement during the interview process.

Immediately upon selection, the chosen applicant will be required to commence work, ensuring a prompt start to their role.
