The Trade Developer is tasked with enhancing field-level sales performance and optimizing market coverage to bolster brand visibility and agent productivity. Additionally, the role entails meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within the designated territory.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties to ensure optimal operational performance and strategic alignment, including managing team workflows, driving project milestones, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance productivity, quality, and compliance with industry standards. Serve as a primary liaison between senior leadership and departmental teams, facilitating clear communication, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring alignment with company goals. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify trends, and recommend data-driven improvements. • Engage and onboard new individual wallet customers, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
Drive wallet activation initiatives and guarantee that customers complete their inaugural transactions.
Provide assistance during onboarding initiatives across various locations, including markets, academic institutions, transit centers, and community gatherings.
• Engage and integrate new individual merchants and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into the platform.
Ensure merchants are fully informed about the key features and advantages of the product offerings.
• Provide assistance to agents engaged in customer acquisition and promotional initiatives.
Design and implement field marketing initiatives and promotional activities to drive brand awareness and engagement.
– Ensure meticulous documentation of all onboarding procedures and milestones.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Qualifications
A Senior Secondary School Certificate or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in outside sales is required.
Proficiency in the Mobile Money, Banking, Telecom, FMCG, or related sectors is advantageous.
• Demonstrates a solid working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, is required for this position.
Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing and deriving actionable insights from sales targets and performance metrics.
Individuals with prior experience in the mobile money sector and digital payment solutions will be advantageous.
