Job Summary
The Preschool Teacher will create and maintain a secure, caring, and engaging learning environment for children, primarily between the ages of 2 and 5. This position requires designing and implementing developmentally appropriate educational activities that foster growth in social, emotional, physical, and cognitive domains.
Key Responsibilities
The position is based at the East Airport location.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities for preschool learners.
• Support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children.
• Create a safe, warm, and stimulating classroom environment.
Track and record children’s developmental milestones and progress systematically to ensure accurate assessment and support their growth.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to maintain clear, consistent, and professional dialogue with parents and guardians about each child’s developmental milestones and daily progress.
Develop comprehensive teaching materials and learning aids to enhance instructional delivery and facilitate student comprehension.
Required skills include proficiency in project management software such as Asana or Trello, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel or Google Sheets is essential, along with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles. The ideal candidate will also possess problem-solving skills, adaptability to changing priorities, and a collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
A recognized diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education or Preschool Education is an essential requirement for this position.
With a minimum of one year of hands-on experience as a preschool or early years’ educator, you bring foundational expertise in nurturing young learners during their critical developmental stages.
Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of foundational concepts in child development.
