JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Civil Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and successful delivery of civil and infrastructure projects, guaranteeing compliance with established timelines, project scope, and allocated budgets.
This position entails overseeing contractor coordination, directing on-site operations, maintaining adherence to safety and quality protocols, and offering technical guidance for construction and telecommunications infrastructure initiatives.
The successful applicant will facilitate project reporting, oversee risk management initiatives, and maintain proactive stakeholder engagement to guarantee the timely and effective delivery of projects.
Required competencies include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and pivot tables. Experience with project management tools such as Asana or Trello is necessary, along with a strong understanding of CRM systems. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are essential to collaborate effectively across teams and articulate complex concepts clearly. A minimum of three years in a related field is mandatory, and familiarity with industry-specific software or platforms is highly advantageous. The ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail is a key requirement for success in this role.
A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent discipline is required.
A professional certification or project management qualification, such as the PMP, would be considered an asset.
Demonstrates a minimum of three to seven years of professional experience in civil project management or comparable construction-related positions.
A proven track record in construction projects, civil works, or telecommunications infrastructure development is essential for this role.
Preferred candidates should have prior experience overseeing contractors, providing on-site supervision, and successfully delivering projects in dynamic, high-pressure settings.
