The Nature-based Climate Adaptation in the Guinean forests of West Africa is a three-year collaborative initiative led by the World University Service of Canada (WUSS) and the Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECIL) as a consortium. The project aims to enhance the adoption of inclusive and gender-responsive nature-based solutions (NBS) for Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) among communities in the Guinean forest regions of Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Guinea. Specifically, it focuses on the landscapes of Weiss Amend and Lake Bosumtwi in Ghana, the areas surrounding Tai National Park (NASA) and Dive Botanical Reserve (Low-Djiboua) in Côte d’Ivoire, and the regions around Kounounkan and Medina Lula Forest Reserves in Guinea.
