About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, professional, and dedicated Personal Chef to join an esteemed private household in Accra, Ghana. The ideal candidate will design and prepare premium meals, with a focus on continental cuisine, baking, and light refreshments. Oversee a range of essential duties encompassing project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvement. Monitor performance metrics to evaluate progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed. Proficient in crafting a diverse array of culinary delights, with specialized knowledge in continental cuisines—including French, Italian, and Mediterranean—as well as advanced baking techniques for breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts. Additionally skilled in preparing sandwiches, canapés, and light snacks suitable for both daily meals and social gatherings.
Craft innovative, well-balanced, and aesthetically pleasing menus featuring fresh, premium ingredients while ensuring all dietary needs and food allergies are carefully addressed.
Oversee the procurement, management, and inventory of kitchen supplies and groceries with precision, ensuring strict adherence to the household’s established food budget.
Ensure the kitchen consistently meets the most stringent standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety at all times.
Collaborate effectively within a two-chef team while maintaining the established shift schedule and liaising with other household staff to ensure smooth and efficient meal service.
Maintain complete confidentiality and exercise prudent discretion concerning the employer’s household affairs, personal preferences, and private matters at all times.

Minimum five years of hands-on experience in software development, with demonstrated expertise in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. Proficient in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code. Experience with version control systems, like Git, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively in a team setting and convey technical concepts clearly. Must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

• Working Conditions
The position is situated in a private home in Accra, Ghana, and involves collaboration with a team of two chefs under a structured shift schedule, which encompasses Sundays. Shift allocations and rest periods will be equitably arranged and disclosed in advance. Adaptability is essential during peak periods, special events, or when the household accommodates guests.
A monthly compensation package ranging from GHS 4,000 to GHS 6,500 will be provided, with the final amount determined by the candidate’s qualifications and professional background.
A thirteenth-month salary will be provided, payable upon the successful completion of one full year of satisfactory employment.
• Employees are entitled to three weeks, or fifteen working days, of paid annual leave annually.
Accommodations are available either on-site or in proximity to the workplace.
Minor medical expenses incurred during employment will be covered, ensuring comprehensive support for any necessary treatments or services.
Before beginning the role, the selected individual must provide a valid police clearance certificate and complete a medical examination, with all related expenses fully covered by the employer.
