Job Summary

The Husky Machine Technician is tasked with installing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing Husky injection molding machines within manufacturing environments. This position is crucial for ensuring optimal machine performance, reducing unplanned downtime, and contributing to production goals while upholding rigorous quality and safety protocols.

Oversee daily operations and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Manage a team of professionals, fostering collaboration and professional growth while maintaining high performance standards. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals, monitoring progress and adjusting approaches as necessary. Handle client relations, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction through timely and effective communication. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies to uphold legal and ethical standards. Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas requiring additional resources or attention.

• Position: Located in Kumasi

Operate, maintain, and perform troubleshooting on Husky injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Conduct routine preventive maintenance as well as troubleshoot and repair machines and their associated auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal operational performance.

Proficiently identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system malfunctions.

• Verify that machinery is correctly configured and prepared for production cycles.

Monitor system operations to identify performance metrics and implement corrective measures as needed to enhance overall efficiency.

Proactively address and reduce production downtime by performing repairs and maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensure that all products consistently comply with the prescribed quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and generate detailed reports to document all activities and outcomes.

Adhere to established safety protocols and company regulations consistently in all operational activities.

Collaborate with production and quality teams to address and resolve technical challenges efficiently.

Provide support for the setup and initial operation of machinery as needed.

We seek candidates with a proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, along with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies is essential, as is the capacity to analyze data and generate actionable insights. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards is required, along with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. The ideal applicant will demonstrate adaptability in dynamic environments, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset to meet organizational objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of experience in software development. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Java, Python, and C++, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also necessary. Additionally, experience with agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git is preferred.

A degree, technical certificate, or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a closely related field is required.
