JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-established hospitality enterprise is actively seeking qualified professionals to fulfill the following positions.

A highly skilled and innovative Chef is required to craft exceptional meals, uphold rigorous kitchen hygiene protocols, and deliver outstanding food presentation and flavor.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration. Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, performance metrics, and budget tracking to senior leadership. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

Prepare and execute meals in strict alignment with established company guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served.

Plan menus and collaborate on food preparation schedules to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen consistently.

Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and promptly notify management of any shortages to ensure uninterrupted operations and maintain adequate stock levels.

Properly store all food items and ingredients to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage or contamination.

Ensure adherence to all health and safety protocols and regulatory standards at all times.

Ensure uniform food quality and presentation standards are consistently upheld.

Required qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, as well as experience with project management software. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques is essential. Strong written and verbal communication abilities are necessary. Candidates must possess analytical thinking skills and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. Problem-solving skills are highly valued.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, as is a strong understanding of project management principles. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines is also crucial. A commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry trends is highly valued.

Applicants must hold a Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Cookery, with a minimum of three years of professional experience required for Diploma holders and five years for HND holders, all obtained within a hotel environment.

A minimum of three years of experience as a Chef or five years in the role of Chef de Partie is required.

Experienced Chef or Cook with a demonstrated background in culinary roles, providing expertise in food preparation, menu development, and kitchen operations.

Proficient in food preparation techniques and kitchen management processes is essential.

Maintains proficiency in high-pressure settings while meeting stringent deadlines and adapting seamlessly to evolving priorities.

Skilled in fostering clear and effective communication and demonstrated ability to collaborate seamlessly within team environments.

Passionate and imaginative in culinary pursuits, with a strong enthusiasm for cooking and its creative applications.

Demonstrates a commitment to upholding stringent hygiene protocols and ensuring cleanliness at all times.
