JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are in search of a skilled and forward-thinking Site & Operations Manager to supervise construction and project activities across our sites in Accra. This position demands a proactive approach, exceptional leadership capabilities, strong organizational acumen, and the capacity to multitask effectively.
Oversee a diverse range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational execution to drive organizational success. Develop and implement comprehensive policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with company objectives and regulatory standards. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline workflows, optimize resource allocation, and enhance productivity. Lead and mentor a high-performing team by fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and risk mitigation. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and financial analyses to support executive decision-making and stakeholder communication. Ensure strict compliance with legal, ethical, and safety protocols while maintaining a commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Site Management entails overseeing daily operations to ensure site efficiency, safety, and compliance with organizational standards. This role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, including contractors and internal stakeholders, to maintain project timelines and resolve operational challenges. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety protocols are essential. Additionally, the position involves monitoring performance metrics, conducting site inspections, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for sourcing, acquiring, and managing materials and procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective supply chain operations.
• Identifies and evaluates potential suppliers, negotiates contracts, and maintains strong supplier relationships to secure favorable terms.
• Monitors inventory levels, forecasts demand, and ensures adequate stock availability while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
• Collaborates with internal departments to align procurement strategies with organizational objectives and operational needs.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability standards in all procurement processes.
• Analyzes market trends, price fluctuations, and vendor performance to optimize purchasing decisions and reduce costs.
• Prepares and submits procurement reports, maintains accurate records, and provides recommendations for process improvements.
Supervises a cohesive group of professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering a productive work environment. Maintain detailed records of client interactions, feedback, and deliverables to support ongoing relationship management and service improvement.
Oversee daily operations and ensure seamless workflow efficiency while maintaining accurate and timely reporting standards. Develop, implement, and monitor operational processes to drive performance improvements and align with organizational goals. Analyze key metrics and data to produce comprehensive reports that inform strategic decision-making and highlight areas for enhancement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, mitigate risks, and uphold compliance with established policies and procedures.

• A minimum of five years of professional experience in site management, construction management, or a comparable discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with a demonstrated track record in construction or infrastructure project execution within Ghana, with a particular advantage for those acquainted with the Accra market.
Demonstrates extensive expertise in procurement methodologies, materials oversight, and supplier relationship management.
Demonstrated proficiency in fostering clear, effective communication and cultivating strong interpersonal relationships to successfully engage with teams and clients alike.
Demonstrates proficiency in analyzing and comprehending technical drawings and project blueprints with precision and accuracy.
Hold a valid driver’s license and demonstrate readiness to travel between various sites throughout Accra.
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office is essential, while familiarity with project management software would be considered an additional asset.
A relevant degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a comparable field is advantageous.
