JOB DESCRIPTION:
Team, Ghana serves as the designated workplace for this role.
Responsibilities include handling the loading and unloading of vehicle spare parts—such as engines, tires, body panels, and electrical components—from incoming containers and outgoing delivery trucks.
Verify part quantities and numbers by cross-checking them with delivery notes and pick lists, promptly reporting any discrepancies encountered.
Skilled in operating material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, with valid certifications and proper training.
Organize components systematically within designated racking or floor spaces in strict adherence to FIFO principles and established safety protocols.
Assist in conducting regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory remains precise and reliable.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hazard-free conditions in loading docks, aisles, and work areas.
Provide production areas with necessary parts on demand to facilitate uninterrupted assembly line operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is necessary. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ along with experience in data structures and algorithms is essential. A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development is required. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking are crucial for this role. Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is also necessary. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are imperative to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in IT support or a comparable role. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring and maintaining network systems, and providing technical assistance to end-users is essential. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, as well as virtualization technologies and cloud services, is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
A Senior High School (SHS) diploma or its equivalent is required.
With a minimum of one year of experience in loading or warehouse operations, ideally within the automotive or heavy equipment sector, candidates should demonstrate familiarity with logistical processes.
Able to lift objects weighing up to 50 kilograms and maintain prolonged periods of standing or walking.
Proficient in fundamental numeracy and literacy skills, essential for interpreting labels, completing detailed checklists, and operating a handheld scanner efficiently.
Demonstrated precision, reliability, and strong teamwork capabilities are essential for this role.
Forklift or pallet jack certification is considered a valuable asset.
