Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on heavy-duty vehicles, including Sitrak and How models, as well as earthmoving equipment such as Shanty bulldozers and loaders.
Execute preventive maintenance, complete engine overhauls, repair transmissions, service brake systems, inspect and adjust suspension components, and perform steering system repairs.
Perform welding and fabrication repairs on chassis, frames, and attachments as required to maintain structural integrity and functionality.
Employ diagnostic instruments and service manuals to systematically diagnose technical issues and execute appropriate corrective measures.
Maintain meticulous documentation of repair activities, including the parts utilized and the total labor hours expended.

Responsible for overseeing the inventory of frequently utilized spare parts and providing guidance on restocking decisions.

Required Skills: The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with advanced capabilities in data analysis and reporting. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are critical for identifying issues and implementing solutions. The role demands organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Additionally, prior experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello, is preferred. A Technical/Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification is required.
With a minimum of three to five years of practical expertise in operating and servicing Chinese heavy-duty trucks and construction machinery—including but not limited to Shanty, Streak, and How models—candidates should demonstrate proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting these specialized vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems.
Skilled in operating diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and conventional mechanic tools with a high level of proficiency.
Proficient in interpreting technical diagrams and service manuals written in English.
Physically capable with the strength to lift substantial components and perform duties in outdoor or workshop environments.
