Job Summary
The Husky Machine Technician is tasked with installing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing Husky injection molding machines integral to manufacturing processes. This position is dedicated to ensuring optimal machine performance, reducing unplanned downtime, and facilitating the achievement of production goals while upholding stringent quality and safety protocols.
Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key deliverables, allocate resources efficiently, and mitigate potential risks. Monitor progress through regular assessments, provide timely updates to stakeholders, and address any deviations from the plan promptly. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement by implementing best practices in project management. Ensure all projects comply with relevant policies, standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Husky injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Execute routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on machinery and supporting systems to ensure optimal functionality and minimize operational disruptions.
Proficiently troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system malfunctions to ensure optimal operational performance.
Ensure all machines are correctly configured and prepared for production runs to maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
Monitor machine operations to evaluate performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to enhance operational efficiency.
Proactively reduce production downtime by executing swift repairs and performing regular maintenance to ensure operational continuity.
• Maintain strict adherence to established quality standards for all products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
Maintain comprehensive maintenance records and reports, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for review and compliance purposes. Generate detailed reports as required, summarizing maintenance activities, issues identified, and resolutions implemented to support informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
Adhere to established safety protocols and organizational guidelines consistently in all operational activities.
Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to address and resolve technical challenges effectively.
Assist with the setup and startup of machinery as needed.
Required competencies include proficiency in written and verbal communication, along with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, complemented by at least three years of relevant professional experience. Key skills include proficiency in Python, Java, or C++, along with strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. Responsibilities encompass designing and developing software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project deadlines are met. The role requires excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and a commitment to continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
A minimum of a Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a closely related discipline is required.
Professionals with a minimum of two to five years of hands-on experience operating Husky injection molding machines are encouraged to apply.
Possesses in-depth expertise in injection molding processes and the operation of related machinery.
Proficient in interpreting technical manuals and schematics is required.
Proficient in diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions, with a strong capacity for analytical thinking and resolution.
