Job Summary
The Security Guard’s primary duty is safeguarding individuals, property, and valuable assets through a prominent security presence, vigilant activity monitoring, and proactive measures to deter unauthorized entry. This position encompasses routine patrols of the premises, regulating access points, and addressing security-related incidents with prompt and decisive action.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing critical project management, strategic operational planning, and cross-functional team leadership to ensure seamless execution of organizational objectives. Implement innovative solutions to enhance workflow efficiency, mitigate potential risks, and drive sustainable growth. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align departmental goals with broader company initiatives, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Analyze performance metrics, identify areas for optimization, and propose data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making. Act as a liaison between executive teams and operational staff, translating high-level strategies into actionable directives while maintaining clear, consistent communication channels. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices to uphold organizational integrity and reputation.
Accra serves as the designated location for this position.
Diligently oversee the ingress and egress of individuals, vehicles, and goods to ensure secure and orderly movement.
Ensure the accurate verification of identification for all visitors and staff members.
Perform routine inspections of the facility to maintain a safe and secure environment for all occupants.
• Oversee security camera feeds and alarm system alerts to ensure continuous surveillance and immediate response to any detected anomalies.
• Detect and promptly communicate any unauthorized or suspicious activities, potential threats, or security violations to the appropriate stakeholders.
Respond immediately to any alarms, emergencies, or disturbances as they arise.
Prepare and update daily security reports as well as maintain detailed incident records to ensure accurate documentation of all activities and occurrences.
Disseminate critical security information to management in a timely and comprehensive manner.
Required Skills:
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
– Experience with data analysis and reporting

Qualifications
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
Professional experience in a security-related role is considered beneficial.
• Maintains a high level of physical fitness and mental alertness to perform duties effectively.
Demonstrates keen observational abilities and effective communication skills.
Demonstrated flexibility to accommodate varied scheduling needs, such as overnight and weekend assignments.
