Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions in heavy-duty vehicles such as Streak and How models, as well as earthmoving equipment, including Shanty bulldozers and loaders.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, conduct comprehensive engine overhauls, execute transmission repairs, service brake systems, address suspension issues, and conduct steering work.
Perform welding and fabrication repairs on chassis, frames, and related attachments as required.
Utilize diagnostic tools and service manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute appropriate corrective measures.
Responsible for meticulously documenting all repair activities, including the specific parts utilized and the total hours of labor invested.
• Maintain strict adherence to manufacturer specifications and applicable safety standards for all work performed.
Oversee the inventory of frequently utilized spare parts and provide recommendations regarding reordering procedures.
Responsibilities include providing oversight and guidance to junior mechanics or apprentices as needed.
Proficient in written and verbal communication, with exceptional proficiency in English, both in speaking and writing. Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving and analytical thinking, with a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality results. A Technical/Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering is the minimum qualification required.
Seeking applicants with a minimum of three to five years of practical expertise in operating and maintaining Chinese heavy-duty trucks and construction machinery, including but not limited to Shanty, Sitrak, How, and comparable brands.
Demonstrates extensive expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems.
Demonstrates expertise in operating diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and standard mechanic tools effectively and efficiently.
Proficient in interpreting technical diagrams and service manuals written in English.
Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy components, and comfortable working in various outdoor and workshop environments.
