It oversees the development of agricultural programs, promotes sustainable farming practices, and provides technical support to farmers and agribusinesses. Additionally, MFA conducts research to improve crop yields, manages agricultural extension services, and collaborates with international partners to address global food challenges. The Ministry also plays a key role in regulating seed quality, managing pest control initiatives, and ensuring the efficient distribution of agricultural inputs.

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFA) is a specialized agency of the United Nations dedicated to eradicating rural poverty by enhancing food security and improving the livelihoods of impoverished farmers and rural populations. Through targeted financial investments, policy guidance, and technical expertise, IFA collaborates with governments, development organizations, and local communities to design and implement sustainable agricultural and rural development projects. Its mission focuses on empowering small-scale producers, particularly women and marginalized groups, by providing access to markets, technology, and financial resources. IFA operates in over 90 countries across Africa, Asia, the Pacific, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Near East, with a commitment to fostering inclusive and resilient rural economies.

The PROSPER (Promoting Rural Opportunities, Sustainable Profits, and Environmental Resilience) initiative seeks to advance economic growth, profitability, and ecological stability across rural communities by fostering sustainable development strategies and resilient environmental practices. This program targets the enhancement of local livelihoods while ensuring long-term environmental viability through targeted interventions, capacity-building initiatives, and collaborative partnerships with stakeholders at all levels. By integrating innovative approaches to resource management and market access, the project aims to create a balanced framework that supports both economic prosperity and ecological preservation in rural regions.

We seek professional consulting services to engage a qualified service provider, tasked with facilitating community entry, promoting mobilization, enhancing capacity development, and fostering climate innovation initiatives throughout the Savannah Region.
