JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary

The Trade Developer will spearhead field-level sales initiatives while optimizing market coverage to enhance brand recognition, agent performance, and overall productivity. Additionally, they will be tasked with meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within their designated territory.

Oversee a diverse range of critical responsibilities, including managing day-to-day operations, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and industry standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align departmental objectives with broader company goals, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Monitor key performance indicators, analyze trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize workflows and drive sustainable growth. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues promptly and maintaining strong professional relationships. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks and upholding the organization’s reputation. Contribute to budget planning, resource allocation, and financial forecasting to support long-term objectives. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, prioritizing employee development, engagement, and retention.

• Location: Obuasi, Bekwei, Kejetia, Ejisu, Ayigya, Santasi, Buokrom & Atonsu

• Acquire and integrate new individual wallet customers into the client base.

Proactively facilitate wallet activation and verify that customers complete their initial transactions to ensure immediate engagement.

Facilitate onboarding initiatives across markets, university campuses, transportation hubs, and community gatherings.

Proactively engage with and secure new partnerships from individual merchants and small to medium-sized enterprises, ensuring smooth onboarding procedures are completed efficiently.

Facilitate merchants’ comprehension of the product’s features and advantages to promote effective utilization and adoption.

We provide assistance to customer service representatives in driving customer acquisition initiatives and executing promotional campaigns.

• Implement field marketing initiatives and promotional activities to drive brand awareness and engagement.

Ensure meticulous documentation of all onboarding processes and activities to maintain comprehensive and precise records.

Required qualifications include proficiency in written and verbal communication, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving capabilities and a solid understanding of analytical processes. Familiarity with project management tools and techniques is essential, along with experience in delivering high-quality results within specified deadlines. Knowledge of industry-specific software or platforms may be advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate adaptability in dynamic environments and exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, though exceptional entry-level candidates will be considered.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline, such as a Senior Secondary School Certificate, is required.

• Requires at least two (2) years of hands-on experience in external sales roles.

Professional experience in the Mobile Money, Banking, Telecom, FMCG, or a related industry is highly desirable.

Demonstrates a solid working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management software platforms.

Demonstrates proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications, specifically Excel and Word.

Demonstrates strong analytical skills to assess sales targets and evaluate performance metrics effectively.

• Familiarity with mobile money ecosystem and digital payments preferred
