Experienced butcher required to prepare and process meat products with precision and adherence to food safety standards. The role involves cutting, trimming, portioning, and packaging various types of meat, including beef, pork, poultry, and lamb, while ensuring quality control throughout the process. Proficiency in operating butchering tools and equipment is essential, along with a strong understanding of meat cuts, aging processes, and proper storage techniques. Candidates must maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, follow health and safety regulations, and deliver exceptional customer service by assisting patrons with product selection and handling inquiries. Prior to butchering experience and familiarity with industry best practices are mandatory.
Highly proficient in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess situations and develop effective solutions efficiently. Demonstrated proficiency in relevant software applications, technical tools, and industry-specific platforms. Exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently. Capable of collaborating effectively in team settings while maintaining a high level of independence and accountability.
A high school diploma from a Secondary High School (SHS) is required for consideration.
Capable of adapting to varying work schedules and accommodating flexible hours as required by the position.
