Receive and process incoming deliveries of knockdown (KD) parts, components, and consumables as they arrive.
Verify that the received quantities, part numbers, and overall quality align precisely with the details specified in delivery notes, purchase orders, and packing lists.
Promptly notify the procurement team of any discrepancies, damages, or non-conformities encountered to ensure timely resolution.
Assign bin locations and maintain organized storage of parts, adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO principles to ensure efficient retrieval and rotation.
Maintain a well-organized and clearly labeled warehouse space dedicated to both heavy-duty and light-duty vehicle parts, ensuring cleanliness and order at all times.
Responsibilities include verifying that heavy components are stored in a manner that ensures safety, prevents potential damage, and allows for efficient retrieval when needed.
Maintain precise inventory documentation through the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning or warehouse management system.
• Perform cycle counts and contribute to monthly and quarterly physical inventory counts.
Monitor inventory levels and generate reorder notifications for high-priority and high-demand components to prevent stock outs.
Issue authorized requisition notes to assembly line technicians for the allocation of required parts and materials.
Responsibilities include documenting all receipts, issues, returns, and transfers in daily logs to ensure accurate record-keeping and inventory tracking.
Compile weekly and monthly inventory reports that detail stock status, identify slow-moving items, and highlight discrepancies for further review.
