MSG collaborates with the Ministry of Health to deliver high-quality, accessible healthcare solutions nationwide.

MSG, with operations spanning various nationwide locations, oversees a fleet of vehicles essential for executing programs, delivering services, conducting outreach initiatives, and managing administrative functions. To enhance fleet efficiency, accountability, cost-effectiveness, and asset management practices,

MSG is looking to recruit a skilled Fleet Consultant responsible for performing an in-depth fleet assessment and delivering strategic recommendations for enhancement.

Purpose of the Assignment

This consultancy aims to evaluate MSG’s fleet operations comprehensively and deliver actionable recommendations to enhance fleet utilization, strengthen maintenance controls, optimize fuel management, and improve overall asset management efficiency.

The Consultant will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

Perform an exhaustive audit and validation process to thoroughly assess and confirm the integrity of the entire fleet of assets.

Evaluating vehicle usage patterns and ensuring operational readiness.

• Detecting vehicles that are underutilized, outdated, or not meeting performance standards.

Offering strategic guidance on incorporating fuel monitoring solutions into the current vehicle tracking framework. Additionally, delivering actionable recommendations to enhance fleet management in terms of efficiency, accountability, and cost reduction.

Reviewing and enhancing fleet management manuals, processes, and procedures to ensure they remain current, compliant, and aligned with operational best practices.

Perform a comprehensive audit and physical verification of all assets within the MSG fleet.

• Assess vehicles’ physical and mechanical integrity to ensure operational safety and reliability.

Assess vehicles that are underutilized, damaged, or obsolete, and propose appropriate disposal solutions to optimize resource allocation.

Assess current fleet management practices to pinpoint gaps, evaluate associated risks, and highlight inefficiencies that may impede operational effectiveness.

Analyze fleet operations to recommend practical and economic systems for monitoring and tracking fuel consumption effectively.

Recommend approaches to seamlessly incorporate fuel monitoring capabilities into the current vehicle tracking infrastructure.

Prepare a detailed final report that includes key findings, strategic recommendations, and actionable plans for implementation.
