We are in search of a meticulous and proactive Warehouse Officer to oversee inventory, components, and supplies within our assembly plant’s warehouse operations.

Oversee the core functions and strategic objectives of the role, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. • Position is located in Team, Ghana

Reports directly to the Assembly Plant Manager, serving as a key point of contact for overseeing plant operations and ensuring alignment with managerial directives.

Receive and process incoming deliveries of knockdown components, parts, and consumables efficiently and accurately.

Verify the accuracy of quantities, part numbers, and quality by cross-referencing delivery notes, purchase orders, and packing lists.

Any irregularities, damages, or deviations from specifications must be promptly communicated to the procurement team without delay.

Assign bin locations and systematically store parts in accordance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO principles.

Maintain a meticulously clean, systematically organized, and clearly labeled warehouse environment dedicated to both heavy-duty and light-duty vehicle parts.

Safeguard heavy components through proper storage methods to mitigate damage risks and streamline retrieval processes.

Maintain precise inventory records through the company’s ERP or warehouse management system, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

• Perform cycle counts and contribute to monthly or quarterly physical stock counts.

Monitor inventory levels closely and promptly initiate purchase requisitions for essential and high-velocity components to prevent stock outs and maintain operational efficiency.

Issue authorized requisition notes to assembly line technicians to allocate necessary parts and materials for production.

Prepare thorough daily records documenting all receipts, issues, returns, and transfers for accurate tracking and reporting.

Compiles and submits regular warehouse reports—including stock status, slow-moving inventory, and discrepancies—each week and month.

Enforce adherence to established safety protocols, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), adherence to safe lifting techniques, and proper stacking procedures.

Ensure hazardous materials, including batteries, oils, and lubricants, are stored in strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations.

Maintain clear access to and operational readiness of all fire exits, extinguishers, and emergency equipment at all times.

Oversee and mentor warehouse staff, forklift operators, and temporary workers to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols.

Collaborate closely with procurement, production, and quality control teams to facilitate uninterrupted material flow throughout operations.

*Must possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentation preparation. A keen attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy in reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively convey ideas. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively is necessary, as the role demands adaptability in fast-paced environments. Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello, is preferred. Proficiency in data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI, is a plus. Strong organizational skills are needed to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.*

A recognized HND or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely aligned discipline is required.

Professional certification, such as CULT or SAP certification, is a valuable asset.

• A minimum of two to three years of warehouse or stores experience within a manufacturing, automotive assembly, or heavy equipment environment is required.

Applicants with a background in managing automotive spare parts or engineering components will be strongly considered.

Proficient in FIFO methodologies, stock control protocols, and barcoding systems.

Proficient in using Microsoft Excel to generate and maintain stock reports.

Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail alongside a strong commitment to maintaining numerical precision.

Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while addressing challenges with a systematic, solution-oriented mindset.

• Thrives in high-pressure environments, particularly during critical assembly phases.
