We seek a motivated professional to fulfill this critical position, responsible for delivering key objectives while maintaining high standards of performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and relevant experience, enabling them to navigate complex challenges with confidence. Duties include overseeing daily operations, collaborating across teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Proficiency in industry-specific tools and exceptional communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

The Video Editor serves as the driving force behind the digital team’s production efforts. Your core responsibility involves converting the founder’s sermons, teachings, and event recordings into compelling content that engages millions of viewers weekly on Facebook and YouTube. This role extends beyond basic video editing; it demands keen editorial discernment to identify the most impactful 90-second segments from a 60-minute sermon, technical expertise to execute edits with precision, and a deep reverence for the founder’s message to ensure its integrity is preserved.

You will oversee the creation of Reels content for both Facebook and Instagram, manage YouTube uploads, and establish a live stream workflow for events and services. Collaboration with the Social Media Manager is essential to ensure all content is tailored and optimized for each platform prior to publication.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties that encompass critical operational functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. Lead strategic initiatives that drive efficiency, innovation, and sustained growth across all facets of the role. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement best practices, and maintain high-performance benchmarks. Manage processes with precision, adhering to compliance requirements and delivering measurable results. Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous development while upholding the company’s mission and values.

We curate and format sermon content into various platform-specific video formats, including concise Reels (60–90 seconds), YouTube Shorts, Facebook video clips, and full-length uploads, ensuring a steady weekly release schedule.

Oversee YouTube channel operations from a production standpoint by strategically scheduling uploads, reviewing thumbnails for quality and appeal, ensuring accurate chapter markers are included, optimizing video descriptions for search visibility, and maintaining a consistent upload cadence to engage the audience effectively.

Develop engaging Instagram and Facebook Reels by incorporating caption overlays, optimizing audio, and tailoring content to meet the unique formatting requirements of each platform.

Develop and sustain a dynamic, live-stream production workflow tailored for GPWS events and services, while collaborating with Dominion Studios to execute productions on an event scale.

Maintain a systematically structured video archive housed in Google Drive, which encompasses footage, exported files, and project files, ensuring strict adherence to the team’s designated naming conventions and folder organization.

To remain abreast of evolving platform algorithms impacting video engagement—with particular emphasis on Facebook’s 1-minute view threshold and YouTube’s watch time and retention analytics—adjust editing strategies as needed to align with these performance benchmarks.

Required Expertise: A thorough command of [specific skills, e.g., data analysis, project management, or coding languages], along with exceptional problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in [relevant tools or software, e.g., Excel, SQL, or Adobe Creative Suite] is essential, as is the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to collaborate effectively across teams and convey information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

What You Bring

Professional video editing experience of at least three years is required, and candidates must present a portfolio showcasing proficiency in both long-form and short-form content.

Proven expertise in industry-standard editing platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro or da Vinci Resolve is essential. Familiarity with Cap Cut for Reels production would be considered an advantageous skill.

Knowledge of various social media video formats, aspect ratios, and the strategies required to optimize content for each platform is essential.

• Editorial judgement, the ability to watch an hour of footage and identify the moments that matter.

This position demands a strong work ethic and the capacity to deliver consistent results within a structured weekly content schedule. Unlike project-based roles, this position is centered on ongoing production obligations.

You must demonstrate alignment with the ministry’s mission and core values. As a key team member, you will engage deeply with the founder’s teachings, requiring a high regard for and appreciation of this content.
