JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duty station is situated in Ellembelle District within the Western Region of Ghana.
A start date of July 1, 2026, has been established for this position.
The initial contract term spans six months, with the possibility of renewal upon successful completion.
• The Project Manager for the VIS GHANA initiative will serve as the designated referee.
Coordinate and oversee project operations in the field to ensure execution aligns with the approved activity schedule and deadlines are consistently met.
• Perform ongoing data collection and analysis to monitor project progress.
• Facilitate the exchange of information and ensure seamless communication among the project team, implementing partners, and community-level beneficiaries.
Monthly and operational reports are developed, and ongoing activities, including multidisciplinary assessments, are documented and reported on a regular basis.
Liaison with diverse community stakeholders is essential to encourage active participation from community leaders, representatives, and local government officials, thereby enhancing the successful execution and continuous improvement of project activities.
Oversee the administrative and operational facets of the scholarship program, encompassing the coordination of application procedures, ongoing communication with recipients, and meticulous management of associated documentation.
Monitor daily expenditures, gather all necessary supporting documentation, and submit expense-related records to the administrative office in a timely manner.
Oversee end-to-end procurement activities in the field by assessing requirements, vetting potential suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotes, and verifying adherence to established company policies and operational guidelines.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Project Manager to ensure alignment with organizational service standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline is required.
With a minimum of three years of practical experience in international cooperation, particularly in community development and mobilization, you are well-prepared for this role.
Candidates must possess prior experience in a comparable position, having successfully performed similar duties and responsibilities in a professional setting.
