Proficiently diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions in heavy-duty vehicles, including Sitrak and How models, as well as earthmoving equipment such as Shanty bulldozers and loaders.
Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, conduct comprehensive engine overhauls, address transmission repairs, service brake systems, service suspension assemblies, and conduct steering system repairs as required.
Perform welding and fabrication repairs on chassis, frames, and related attachments as required to maintain structural integrity and functionality.
Employ diagnostic equipment and service documentation to accurately diagnose problems and execute appropriate solutions.
Maintain precise documentation of repairs performed, components utilized, and hours dedicated to labor.
• Verify that all tasks adhere strictly to manufacturer guidelines and established safety protocols.
Oversee the inventory of frequently utilized spare parts and provide recommendations regarding reordering.
Supervise and guide junior mechanics or apprentices as needed, providing mentorship and support to ensure their professional development and adherence to industry standards.
Required qualifications include: proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling, with a strong grasp of Excel, SQL, and Tableau. The ideal candidate will have experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, along with a solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Additionally, exceptional communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is mandatory, and professional certifications such as CFA or CPA are highly advantageous.
A Technical/Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering is required as a minimum qualification.
With a minimum of three to five years of practical expertise in operating and servicing Chinese heavy-duty trucks and construction machinery, including but not limited to Shanty, Streak, How, and comparable models, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong technical proficiency in these specialized vehicles.
Proficient in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems, with in-depth technical expertise in each area.
Skilled in operating diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and common mechanic tools with precision and efficiency to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues effectively.
Proficient in interpreting technical diagrams and service manuals written in English.
Must possess physical fitness and the capacity to lift heavy components, in addition to performing tasks in outdoor and workshop environments.
