Job Purpose

The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in managing and aligning daily haulage operations to guarantee the smooth transportation of trucks, drivers, and cargo while upholding operational performance, safety standards, and customer expectations.

Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, including managing cross-functional projects, optimizing operational workflows, and maintaining high standards of performance. Coordinate daily transportation schedules and allocate appropriate trucks and drivers to ensure seamless operational execution.

Monitor vehicle activity and verify that shipments are transported and delivered according to schedule.

Engage proactively with drivers, clients, warehouse staff, and management to address and resolve operational matters efficiently.

Maintain comprehensive fleet records by diligently tracking fuel consumption, adhering to scheduled maintenance routines, and ensuring all vehicle documentation remains accurate and up to date.

Oversee the scheduling and execution of vehicle maintenance to uphold fleet operational readiness at all times.

Monitor driver attendance, evaluate performance metrics, and ensure adherence to company policies as well as safety regulations.

• Develop and oversee the creation and upkeep of operational reports and transport documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.

Address operational obstacles and facilitate the expedient resolution of customer inquiries.

• Maintain adherence to all applicable transport regulations and established company policies.
