Dedicated to providing superior commercial and private vehicles to the Ghanaian market, we are in search of a meticulous and proactive Warehouse Officer to oversee inventory control, component management, and material logistics within our plant’s warehouse operations.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, the management of cross-functional projects, and the maintenance of high operational standards. Serve as a key liaison between departments to facilitate seamless collaboration and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to drive informed decision-making. Lead teams by fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Additionally, oversee budgetary controls, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to optimize efficiency and mitigate potential challenges.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill a key role based in Team, Ghana. The position requires the selected candidate to be based in this vibrant coastal city, situated in the Greater Accra Region. Team serves as a critical hub for Ghana’s industrial and commercial activities, making it an ideal location for professionals looking to contribute to the country’s economic growth.

Reports directly to the Assembly Plant Manager, receiving direction and oversight from this leadership role.

• Handle the receipt of incoming shipments containing knockdown (KD) parts, components, and consumables.

Verify delivery notes, purchase orders, and packing lists to ensure quantities, part numbers, and quality align with specifications.

Please notify the procurement team without delay regarding any discrepancies, damages, or non-conformities encountered.

Assign bin locations and organize parts in a structured manner, adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expiry, First-Out) inventory management principles to ensure optimal storage and retrieval efficiency.

Maintain a well-organized and meticulously labeled warehouse to ensure proper storage and efficient retrieval of both heavy-duty and light-duty vehicle parts.

Ensure the secure storage of heavy components to mitigate the risk of damage and streamline retrieval processes.

Maintain precise inventory records by utilizing the company’s ERP or warehouse management system.

Conduct cycle counts and take an active role in monthly and quarterly physical stock takes.

• Track inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock of critical and high-demand components, initiating reorder notifications when necessary.

Issue materials and components to assembly line technicians as specified in the approved requisition documents.

Maintain comprehensive daily records of all receipts, issues, returns, and transfers to ensure accurate documentation and tracking of inventory movements.

Compiles and submits weekly and monthly warehouse reports, including stock status updates, identification of slow-moving items, and documentation of discrepancies.

Enforce adherence to established safety protocols, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), adherence to safe lifting techniques, and proper stacking procedures.

Ensure hazardous materials, including batteries, oils, and lubricants, are stored in strict adherence to all environmental and safety regulations.

Ensure fire exits, extinguishers, and other emergency equipment remain unobstructed and fully operational at all times.

Oversee and mentor warehouse staff, including forklift operators and temporary workers, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols.

Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality control teams to facilitate uninterrupted material flow throughout operations.

Proven expertise in [specific skills, e.g., data analysis, project management, or software proficiency] is essential for success in this role. Proficient in Microsoft Excel to support stock reporting duties.

Requires meticulous attention to detail and precision in numerical tasks.

Demonstrates exceptional aptitude for organizing tasks efficiently and resolving challenges methodically.

Demonstrates resilience and composure in fast-paced manufacturing environments, particularly during high-volume production phases.
