Oversee and execute core duties essential to the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with established standards. • Position entails working from the Circle district in Accra, Ghana.

Responsible for achieving and managing sales targets across all retail outlets, encompassing both open market and key account (KA) segments within the designated region.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of store-level Purchase & Inventory data, assess sales performance trends, and prepare detailed reports while initiating corrective measures as needed.

To expand the presence and revenue contribution of brand-owned retail locations within the designated region.

• Implement sales and promotional strategies established by management, working in conjunction with the Marketing team.

• Develop and sustain robust partnerships with retailers by clearly conveying company policies and promotional offerings.

Collaborate closely with the Channel team to establish and enhance retailer supply partnerships, ensuring optimal alignment and performance.

Responsibilities include managing contract and policy agreements with store owners to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational standards.

• Maintain superior in-store branding by strategically placing and regularly servicing point-of-sale materials, while securing and maximizing visibility of premium product displays in high-traffic retail locations.

Oversee the logistics for marketing materials, with a particular emphasis on go-to-market (GTM) campaigns.

Oversee and maintain optimal store safety stock levels to guarantee consistent product availability for customers.

Ensure all promoters within the region demonstrate strong competency by implementing and refining impactful sales strategies. Partner with the National Training team to enhance and expand their professional skill sets.

• Maintain promoters’ operational readiness and drive their performance through consistent support and encouragement.

Proactively solicit feedback from both consumers and retailers to gain valuable insights and enhance product offerings.

Conduct ongoing surveillance of competitor actions and prevailing market trends to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and identify emerging opportunities or threats.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required for this role. Applicants should possess at least three years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is strongly desired. Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this position.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a comparable discipline is required.

With a strong preference for candidates possessing three to five years of experience in retail or terminal management, ideally within the consumer electronics sector, this role demands a proven track record in overseeing operational and customer service functions.

Demonstrates a consistent ability to meet and exceed sales targets, coupled with expertise in managing and optimizing sales channels.

Demonstrates exceptional ability in communication, negotiation, and interpersonal interactions, fostering productive relationships and resolving conflicts effectively.

Demonstrates flexibility to undertake regular travel commitments, typically involving one week per month, to the Eastern and Volta regions.
