JOB DESCRIPTION:
Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, coordination of cross-functional projects, and maintenance of high operational standards to ensure organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Lead and mentor teams to foster a collaborative work environment, drive performance, and achieve key performance indicators. Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and alignment of goals. Responsible for analyzing complex data to inform decision-making, identifying trends, and proposing solutions to enhance productivity and profitability. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices while managing budgets, resources, and timelines with precision.
Location: Situated in the heart of Accra, Circle serves as the central hub for this dynamic role, offering convenient access and a vibrant professional setting.
Ensure accountability for achieving sales targets across all stores, including those operating in the open market and key accounts (KA) within the designated region.
Conduct in-depth evaluations of store-level Purchase & Inventory data, track sales metrics, prepare detailed performance reports, and initiate corrective measures as needed.
To expand the number and market share of brand-owned outlets within the designated region.
Execute the sales and operational strategies set forth by management in partnership with the Marketing team to drive promotional initiatives.
Develop and nurture robust partnerships with retail partners by clearly conveying company policies and incentive programs to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.
Collaborate closely with the Channel team to establish and enhance retailer supply partnerships, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities include managing contract and policy agreements with store owners to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational standards.
• Ensure optimal in-store branding, including POSM placement and maintenance, securing premium product display locations at key outlets.
Oversee the coordination and execution of marketing material logistics, with a particular focus on go-to-market (GTM) campaigns.
Monitor and oversee store safety stock levels diligently to guarantee consistent product availability for customers.
Ensure the competence of regional promoters by verifying their mastery of effective sales strategies. Partner with the National Training team to facilitate ongoing skill enhancement initiatives.
Ensure all promoters remain in optimal working condition and are consistently motivated.
Actively collect insights and opinions from both consumers and retailers through structured feedback mechanisms to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Track and analyze competitor actions and evolving market dynamics to maintain a competitive edge.
Demonstrated proficiency in relevant tools, methodologies, and techniques pertinent to the role is essential. Candidates must possess the ability to analyze complex information, solve problems efficiently, and communicate clearly. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are also necessary to ensure accuracy and productivity. Prior experience in a similar position is preferred, along with the capacity to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team. Adaptability to evolving priorities and a commitment to continuous learning are highly valued.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development, systems engineering, or a comparable discipline. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments are also necessary. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is required.
With a minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in retail or terminal management—ideally within the consumer electronics sector—you bring a proven track record of operational leadership and strategic execution.
Demonstrated expertise in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, coupled with adeptness in overseeing and optimizing channel operations to drive revenue growth and ensure operational efficiency.
Demonstrates exceptional ability to communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
Able to accommodate regular travel commitments, with an estimated one week per month dedicated to assignments in the Eastern and Volta regions.
