Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions in heavy-duty vehicles such as Streak and How models, as well as earthmoving equipment, including Shanty bulldozers and loaders.
Perform routine preventive maintenance, comprehensive engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake system servicing, suspension adjustments, and steering system repairs.
Perform welding and fabrication repairs on chassis, frames, and attachments as required to maintain structural integrity and functionality.
Utilize diagnostic equipment and service manuals to accurately diagnose problems and execute appropriate corrective measures.
Diligently document all repair activities, including specific parts utilized and total labor hours expended, ensuring meticulous and error-free record-keeping.
• Verify that all operations adhere strictly to manufacturer guidelines and established safety protocols.
Oversee the inventory of frequently utilized spare parts and provide recommendations regarding reordering procedures.
• Supervise and mentor junior mechanics or apprentices when required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Technical/Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification is required.
We seek candidates with a minimum of three to five years of practical expertise in operating and servicing Chinese heavy-duty trucks and construction machinery, specifically models from Shanty, Streak, How, or comparable brands.
Possesses comprehensive expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of each discipline.
Skilled in operating diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and conventional mechanic tools with precision.
Proficient in interpreting technical diagrams and service manuals written in English.
Physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including lifting heavy components, and performing duties in both outdoor and workshop environments.
